What a beautiful morning we had… this is the type of light a photographer dreams of. It was so pretty, and this family was perfectly matched against the gorgeous sky, and turquoise ocean. Enjoy!

I had the privilege to photograph my awesome cousin and his even more awesome and lovely wife a couple of weeks ago at the Arlington Garden in Pasadena. They are going to have a baby girl this coming October, and I couldn’t be more thrilled for them. They are so cute, I can’t wait to see them as parents! Enjoy!
When I tell you that this little girl had a personality of 100 kids, I am not kidding. As I went through to edit the photos, I was reminded of this again, with her multitude of expressions. She looked at me inquisitively, she laughed, she stuck her tongue out, she zerberted, she rolled her eyes, she made “o”‘s…you name it, she did it. AND WAS JUST POSITIVELY SO DARN CUTE. And so were her parents, of course. Enjoy the photos!
One of my lovely clients (also a great friend) and her family came down from Northern California for their annual week of ice skating camp at the Toyota Sports Center. She wanted photos of her kids in their competition outfits on the ice. Yes, I said, “on the ice.” Now, what does that mean for me? That means that I would have to be on the ice, too, right? Several things went through my head with this thought…will I be able to move around on the ice? Will I be wearing ice skates? Will I be wearing tennis shoes? How will I stop myself from falling…you get the point. SO, I arrived, camera and gear in tow…signed the release papers (in case I do fall and break my neck) with a little bit of anxiety..wouldn’t you? I did have the brilliant idea to bring my foamy yoga mat to stand on, in case I was able to wear my tennis shoes (my first choice). Well, what was such a big giant deal in my head, was not at all an issue! I stood on my yoga mat (as close to the side) and instructed these little skating gems to go here, go there, show me your tricks, etc. It worked out, don’t you think?
After we finished inside the rink, we did take some photos outside the rink to showcase the place where they spend much of their time when they are here in Los Angeles. Enjoy!
I love that I get to meet so many wonderful people in my job. This family received a gift certificate this year, and contacted me to put together a family photo session with their darling daughter. She brought her favorite toy ~ her barnyard, complete with squeaking barnyard animals inside.
Holiday Photo time is in FULL SWING! If you haven’t booked your appointment yet, it is time to get yourself on the calendar. Enjoy the photos!
I love taking pictures of people…of personalities, of love, of relationships, of connections, of giggles and of real life. Sometimes beauty takes on a bit of messiness, but in the end, you will be able to see the real and authentic love that you and your people have for one another. And that…is what matters.
Let’s make this easy – Sessions are One Price, ALL INCLUSIVE and stress free.
