Every year…it comes, even if you don’t want it to… kids growing up, and having a birthday that launches them another year older. Sometimes I don’t really think about it, other times I tear up thinking about what has gone by, and that I won’t get another chance at baby/toddler/preschool/etc. days.

When I watch these gals, I see what my future looks like…2 girls, just a few years ahead of my own 2 girls. I see them starting and graduating from middle school, starting high school, enter into teenage-hood, and mange life/friends/homework as an adolescent. I could only hope that mine handle growing up as gracefully as these 2. I’m seriously proud to know them (and of course, their cool mom and dad).

I came upon this cool spot this year, and just can’t get over how gorgeous these 2 are, and how pretty the light looks around them.
