It was an honor to be the Redondo Beach bar mitzvah photographer for Max, who celebrated his bar mitzvah aboard the Fantasea One yacht of FantaSea Yachts in Marina Del Rey, California. I was absolutely blown away by the planning talents of his mom, who put the majority of this party together herself! I was truly impressed! Party to the Max, indeed!
The theme for Max’s party was a surf/beach theme, complete with a chalkboard in the shape of a surfboard seating chart, a surfboard as his guest sign-in, cocktail and mocktail menus offering all the beach/ocean themed drinks, e.g., “south bay breeze”, “del reyhound”, “shark bite” and “fin and tonic”. So clever! Even the table numbers were little surfboards! To tie the surf theme together with his name, the party was dubbed “Party To The Max”, and all was complete.
The ceremony was held on the top deck of the yacht, where the guests were provided with an array of sunglasses to choose from and wear. The deck was decorated with hanging paper lanterns, and the bimah was lined with palm trees that fit the theme of the day. It was a lovely set up complete with perfect weather and gorgeous skies.
This family truly enjoyed each other and had FUN together. I think that is the best part of an event like this…watching everyone enjoying the fellowship of being together, and celebrating the bar mitzvah!
I have photographed bar/bat mitzvahs all over the South Bay area of southern California including the Crowne Plaza in Redondo Beach, Temple Menorah, Big Door Studios in El Segundo, Abigail in Hermosa Beach, and the Manhattan Country Club to name a few. Happy to help make your event everything you imagined it would be! Whether you choose me to be your Redondo Beach bar mitzvah photographer or your Manhattan Beach bat mitzvah photographer or your El Segundo bat mitzvah photographer, I am honored to be considered!
